Manage Connections and Repositories

Connect GitHub and Cursor Origin to Tenki Code Reviewer and choose which repositories it reviews.

Code Reviewer connects to your code through an app installed in each provider: the Tenki Reviewer GitHub App for a GitHub organization, and the Tenki app for a Cursor Origin namespace. The app's repository access decides which repositories get reviewed. Tenki never changes or deletes your repositories.

Connections

Open Code Reviewer → Configuration. The Connections card lists each provider, the connected account, and whether the app can access all repositories or a selection.

  • Configure opens the app's settings in the provider, where you change repository access.
  • A provider that isn't connected shows an install button. You can connect GitHub and Cursor Origin to the same workspace.
  • If a connection is suspended or its install failed, the row shows Reconnect or Retry install.

Choose which repositories get code review

Repository access is granted in the provider, not in Tenki. Changes you make there sync to Tenki automatically.

  • All repositories: every existing repository is reviewed, and new ones are picked up as they are created.
  • Selected repositories: only the repositories you choose are reviewed.

GitHub

Select Configure next to GitHub, or open your GitHub Settings → Applications → Installed GitHub Apps and find Tenki Reviewer.

Under Repository access, choose All repositories or Only select repositories and adjust the selection.

Save. The repositories available in Code Reviewer update automatically.

Cursor Origin

Select Configure next to Cursor Origin to open Apps in Cursor's codebase settings. Open Tenki, then select Manage under Repository Access. Repositories mirrored from GitHub aren't reviewed through Cursor Origin; connect GitHub to review them.

Per-repository overrides

Code Reviewer settings apply to your whole workspace by default, but every setting can be overridden for a single repository. Use the Scope selector at the top of the configuration to switch from Workspace Default to a specific repository, then adjust any setting, including Severity Threshold, Automatic Review, Review on Push, Approve on Clean Review, Comment Detail Level, PR Walkthrough, and Ignore Usernames.

The selector lists repositories from every connected provider, each with its provider's icon. A repository that has no override inherits the workspace default. Overrides only affect the repository they are scoped to, so you can, for example, run the broadest coverage on a critical service while keeping a lighter configuration everywhere else.

If a repository is missing from the list, check that the app can access it in the provider, then use the refresh button next to Don't see your repository?.

Review history

The Reviews tab lists every review in the workspace, with its status, repository, provider, branch, and size. Filter by date, provider, repository, or branch; pull request and repository links open in GitHub or Cursor Origin.

A No new changes tag marks a review that ran after a push but found nothing new to review. Reviews stay in the history after you disconnect a provider.

Frequently asked questions

The reviewer isn't commenting on a repo. Why? The most common cause is that the repository isn't in the app's access list. Add it in the provider (or switch to all repositories) and the change syncs automatically. See Troubleshooting for more.

Can I enable Code Reviewer on some repositories but not others? Yes. Choose selected repositories in the provider and include just the repos you want reviewed.

Does changing access modify my repositories? No. Access controls only what Tenki can see; it never changes or deletes your repositories.
